    His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Prince of the Eastern Province, on Sunday, January 2, 2022, inaugurated the Asharqia Chamber tower in a ceremony organized by the Chamber under the patronage of His Highness and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province and His Excellency the Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi And a remarkable presence of the business sector in the eastern region.

    His Highness inaugurated, during his visit to the tower, the incubator of the Asharqia Chamber of Entrepreneurship, which aims to support and guide male and female entrepreneurs. It also adopts projects and creative ideas and works on implementing programs that educate, educate and assist them to enable them to reach success and achieve creativity in their emerging projects.

    His Highness praised the pioneering role played by the Asharqia Chamber and its support for the economy through programs and initiatives of tangible impact. His Highness also praised the inauguration of a business incubator the Chamber Tower, stressing that supporting small projects and empowering entrepreneurs contributes to economic development and upgrading projects that will positively reflect on the national economy and provide promising opportunities for the country's young men and women.

    During the inauguration of the incubator, His Highness sponsored the signing of two cooperation agreements between the Asharqia Chamber and the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises and the Aramco Entrepreneurship Center (Wa’ed), in the presence of the Governor of the General Authority for Enterprises, Engineer Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed, and the Managing Director of “Wa’ed” Eng. Fahd Al-Eidi and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi.

    His Highness also inaugurated, in an official ceremony, the Asharqia Chamber tower, in the presence of the most prominent leaders of the business sector. During the ceremony, a ceremony was held to sign an agreement for the management and operation of the Chamber tower with Rikaz Real Estate Company.

    In his speech during the ceremony, His Excellency the Minister of Commerce said that the Asharqia Chamber is a model contributing to the service of the national economy, and the Asharqia Chamber Tower project translates the aspirations of the people of the region and their constructive ideas to keep pace with the development of our dear country in the light of Vision 2030, looking forward to the contribution of this project with the Entrepreneurship Incubator and the branch The Saudi Business Center aims to achieve the Chamber's goals and aspirations for financial sustainability and service excellence.

    He said that developing the chambers of commerce system is a joint responsibility, and the new chambers of commerce system and its executive regulations were recently issued as a road map to improve their services and raise their efficiency following the best international practices, due to the regulatory controls, standards of governance and indicators that help in evaluating and measuring performance to maximize their roles in the national economy.
    His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the march of giving and excellence for the Asharqia Chamber over the past 70 years, extending his thanks to the generation of loyal pioneers for their role in the development and construction process.
    For his part, Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi said that the wise leadership is pursuing a vision aimed at diversifying the sources of the national economy in a way that guarantees - God Almighty - long-term financial sustainability, which prompted the continuation of efforts towards developing the structures of the national economy, including the sectors it contains. Development projects, on top of them, as a basic pillar in sustainable growth.
    Al-Khalidi indicated during the ceremony that the Asharqia Chamber followed the same approach and vision and saw that its continuity in giving and its leadership in excellence depended on diversifying its sources of income, so it endeavored to find new channels to invest its monetary assets and support its financial solvency to ensure its continuity in giving and developing its services to its subscribers, and from here began its journey in The construction of this "tower", which we signed a construction contract on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, with the "Al-Bawani Company", and we took care that its design should keep pace with international standards and specifications used in such vital and huge projects, to be a "landmark" that constitutes a prominent sign in the map of the eastern region.
    Al-Khalidi explained that the Chamber believes in the importance of providing an integrated and enabling investment environment for the business sector. First, we were keen: that the “Burj” include the Saudi Business Center, so that the clients of the “Burj” could complete all their procedures for conducting their business easily, and that it included, secondly: The Entrepreneurship Incubator To stand next to Saudi entrepreneurs who are in the process of establishing their start-ups or who are facing challenges in their sustainability or growth.
    Al-Khalidi indicated that the Chamber has provided and continues to provide for the sake of the national economy and the business sector of the people of the Eastern Province, and strives to keep pace with the best sustainability practices locally and regionally, and tries to benefit from global experiences at all levels until development is continuous and present and an original principle that governs its aspirations for the future.
    During the ceremony, government and private entities were honored, namely: the Eastern Province Municipality, the Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises "Monsha'at", Saudi Aramco, Civil Defense in the Eastern Province, Sadara Company, SATORP Company, SABIC and the Saudi Electricity Company - Sector Al Sharqi, the National Water Company in the Eastern Province, and Today's Media House.
    The sponsors of the Asharqia Chamber of Entrepreneurship incubator were also honored, namely: Mohammed Al-Saad Al-Moajil Group for Commercial and Industrial Investment and Real Estate Development, Al-Mowasat Company for Medical Services, and Riyad Bank.
    His Highness honored the companies implementing the tower project, namely: Al-Bawani Company (the project contractor), one of the largest general contracting companies in the Kingdom, Projects International (the project consultant), and Arabtec Jardaneh (the project designer).
    The members of the Chamber's Board of Directors for the seventeenth session and the work team for the Asharqia Chamber Tower project were also honored.
    After the ceremony, the Chamber presented a souvenir on this occasion to the sponsor of the ceremony, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Region. A souvenir was presented to His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi.
    It is noteworthy that the project design takes into account the various needs that are commensurate with the aspirations of the business sector and works to facilitate their work, improve the level of performance, in addition to facilitating communication with the internal capabilities and the external environment, in line with international standards and international specifications used in such vital and huge projects. The unique design of the tower offers an innovative environment that suits the modern style of the business community and its services, and it goes in parallel with the development and renewed ambitions of the business environment in the eastern region, which is characterized by privacy and attractiveness.
    The tower construction program was characterized by vitality, speed, and accuracy in implementation and a high-quality level in construction, finishing, and specifications works.
    The Eastern Chamber tower is 135 meters high and includes 32 floors, including basement floors and parking lots that can accommodate about 600 cars, with a total rental area of 39,000 square meters.
    To provide the best services to the tenants, the eighth floor has been allocated as a headquarters for 7 meeting rooms and a multi-use hall serviced by 8 passenger elevators and a service elevator
      The tower also includes rental spaces designated for specialized restaurants and cafes, a health club, a nursery, a prayer room, and public services for men and women.​
